I think its a scam, wanted payment before service and when i suggested the reverse for a first order he blocked me.

You did the right thing.

Never pay the full fee upfront. If they're a reputable service, they'd understand that.

This is the golden rule. But I would like to add this: never ever pay anything upfront.

I recently got scammed from a guy who basically told me that I would receive a refund with his "instant method". I paid a part of the fee upfront and he basically fucked everything up and now I am struggling to obtain a refund by myself.

He applied a scan showing the package was damaged and being returned to sender and asked for a refund. Later, I received a mail from CS where they confirmed the package was damaged and that they would process the refund, but only when the package comes back to their warehouse.

Ridiculous method that doesn't work, especially for high value items.

At the end I guess I learned something though: do your SEs all by yourself.

Yeah I have been seeing a few on telegram about this, I was considering it, sorry for your loss of money but also thanks for the insight! I guess they want to confirm the item is damaged before issuing a refund. Have you tried other scans?

You're welcome!

Well, I thought it was wiser to do a one-time hit with a high value item and given the fact I never SE'd before I opted to use a SE service. Bad decision I guess but nevertheless, lesson learned. I won't make that mistake again.

Never tried other scans, as mothered always says stick to more reliable methods.

Agreed, It's always best to never pay upfront.

On the other hand, It depends on the amount you pay upfront. For example, a couple of measly dollars Is no great loss.
