I know Java quite well (I guess ), atleast I know how to use harness the Java'a technology properly.

I have good experience with Core Java and Swing. I have worked a little with JSP and Servlets too. Though I am not a web guy who likes making website still to get a good Job in the Java domain I need to know J2EE as well. I was hoping if some one experienced could tell me something about the Java web framework and what will be the best to choose. There are so many available, Spring, Struts, JSF, Grails Wicket, Vaadin etc etc that its almost very very confusing.


Which one should I begin to learn which will be fruitful ?

I did Google first but the answers were too confusing everyone seems to support every other framework.

Just take a framework and learn it, then take another framework and compare it with the previous one to see which one is better for your needs

Learning a framework and then using it properly takes a lot of time. I can't spare that much time and also learning frameworks won't be very easy. We need a lot of practice.

I'd say go with Spring or Struts, those are the two I see most often pentesting java web-apps. Though most of my clients are very enterprise-ey.
