Is it possible to SE an expensive watch? 11-30-2018, 12:41 AM
#1
Hey guys, I'm looking to get a nice watch but it's about $400. Does the order have to be fullfilled and sold from amazon? The ones I'm currently looking at are only fullfilled by them. I currently have Amazon prime and have refunded about 3 items and purchased 18 items including refunded. Is there a good way to approach this or do you think it's possible? Any help would be much appreciated!

You'd want to deal with Amazon (returns, customer service etc), so fulfilled by Amazon suits best.
Watches are lightweight, so boxing or the Item didn't receive method will work.

I see that helps a lot. I've actually never done either of those method before, I often just make some story or something. How do I go on doing boxing or didn't receive? I heard they have a high rate of police reports so I've never tried them. Also, does it have to be sold by Amazon or just fullfilled? Sorry for all the questions, thanks a lot!

This is the first time I’ve heard of police reports and I’ve been involved with refunding/SE’ing for many years. I am not saying I don’t believe you, because trust me I actually have no reason not to believe you, but I would like to know more about police reports actually happening to people

In terms of boxing, you simply tear the package that's consistent with the size of the Item, then seal It with different colored tape. This gives the Impression as though It was stolen during transit.
The didn't receive method Is self-explanatory. The package was empty when you received It. Pertaining to a police report, the higher the Item's value, the more likely a report will be raised- Irrespective of the nature of the Item.

I haven't experienced it myself, but it seems like police reports are opened frequently when using the method around the forums from what I read. Maybe its relative to the value of the item?

Which method would you recommend using? Also, when doing boxing method, would you show them a photo through email or what? Do you think $400 would be a high chance?

Yes but you probably won't be able to have it serviced/repaired or sell it very easily, those serials are tracked closely

Provided your method Is formulated and executed effectively, either one will suffice.
With boxing, It depends what they request so It's difficult to be conclusive. 400$ Is fine. It's not classed In a value bracket of high-risk.

The watch can be repaired anywhere, It doesn't have to be via an authorized dealer. As for selling, there's countless options- my friends at work Is one.
