Intel CPU SE #1
Going to try and use the S/N method on Intel to get a new CPU. Logged a support request saying the CPU has died and I have tried new motherboard, RAM etc. and nothing is working.

Will update when I can, just waiting for someone to get in touch.

Sounds good.

If the return Is requested, simply box them.

Can you recommend any drop ship service to box US vendors?

That was the plan, by box them, I can pretty much just send back an empty parcel box right?

What's the precise weight of the CPU?

On Amazon the CPU under product specifications are 16.4 x 13 x 13.9 cm; 440 Grams. This will be the whole box, not entirely sure of the weight of the unit itself.

The CPU Itself will be a lot lighter.

If you can locate the weight, It will determine whether or not the box can be returned on Its own.

From looking around I only seem to find box weight or 4.6g on the currys website which is also obviously wrong. Would it be ignorant to assume the weight of this CPU would be similar to other CPU's which normally fit between the 80-120g mark?

I cannot see the CPU weighing more than 85 grams.

As such, It's fine to send the box without adding a weight substitute.

Will hopefully get the opportunity to box if the SE goes well. Will keep you updated.
