Instant Refunds (using Insider Carrier Scans) 11-05-2022, 08:54 PM

So, loads of refund services and boxing services now seem to offer services surrounding this practice, that involves manipulating tracking to show that an item has been damaged whilst en-route to the customer. If I'm not mistaken, then does this not mean that - since the item will ultimately still be delivered to the address on the consignment - the tracking will be updated to show that, despite the evident damage (that, apparently, often gets marked as "returned to sender" and results in the order being cancelled) actually arrived at the customer's address? Wouldn't it then be VERY easy for fraud prevention departments to dish out rebills and whatnot when these things happen?
Are refund services really milking their customers knowing they might ultimately be screwing them over big time?
