[Jiggly]

After flooding in Australia, spiders have coated massive areas in spider webs. This act is an incredible survival tactic known as ballooning, where spiders are attempting to reach higher ground.

Burn it.

That Is amazing.

I didn't think spiders had the capacity to form something to that effect.

Nature is so magnificent.

I had no idea either. Knowing I'm nowhere near a field full of spiders, it's kind of beautiful.

it's kind of beautiful.

It most certainly Is.

I'm amazed at the actual Intelligence of spiders, namely how they managed to think of creating webs over such large areas to gain higher ground.

It's incredibly clever. Especially as this obviously means the spiders are working together somehow. Despite the fact usually they live a pretty solitary life.

I am basically terrified about all the creepy creatures out there. Spider is no exception. To think that this tiny insect has such intelligent survival instinct bowled me over. It doesn't help my aversion to these insects though.

NOPE. NO. NO THANK YOU.

Slightly unrelated note, the craziest thing Ive seen in someones backyard was actually a fairly large shortwave antenna. The thing was taller than the 2 story house it sat behind. Oddly enough it was fairly well hidden in some trees. Would have never noticed it had the sun hit it in such a way it reflected into my eyes.

oh my no no and no not going to even go there
