Umm... How will this work, you can't make a Full HTML Forum, you need PHP somewhere for login, register, and forums. You're not going to be able to do this..

RE: [Idea] Full-HTML Forum #3
Literally impossible. You wouldn't be able to log in, register, post, save data, anything.
PHP will have to be used in order to create a forum, or pretty much any site to store data for that matter.

RE: [Idea] Full-HTML Forum #4
unless you make it so you have to manually update it for posts username colors and everything then it wont work.

Nothing is impossible, don't be foolish. He could make a login form and check the data against an XML file or other type of data storage, and do the same for registering and posting. Just have everything load from spreadsheets and markup documents and have the HTML files update data as required.

While this will be highly inefficient, it's plausible.

Note -

There will not be a register or sign in button or anything.

Each member gets a manually created profile and they get a secret profile link.

Btw - This is not going to be a public forum just an idea.

If it gets more members it will only be specific ones I deem worthy. Like Chalant.

For everyone that is saying it is imposible they are wrong. TTG is a HTML forum, so it is obviously possible.

If he isn't going to use PHP, what makes you think he'll use XML?
But fair enough. It's possible without PHP, not possible without storing data somewhere.

How do you expect them to log in, post, or do anything else?
YOU would have to manually update everything, meaning you would have to go into your FTP every single time and add little edits every time someone wants to do anything..

You know PHP can be configured to be parsed as any extension through some simple configuration? Heck, my forums could have the extension .CSS or .chalant and it would still be parsed exactly the same, and work as such.
