I was wondering..

If I order from two different phones which is connected to the same WiFi. If companies were to track; would they see the same IP address or will they see the different phones IP address?

Will both phones be connected to a cellular network?

Yes. Without internet

If they are connected to the same wifi then they will have the same IP
But an IP alone doesn't say much about multi account, think college dorms or schools or bars, everyone that uses the same wifi will end up with the same IP and it's gonna be a LOT of people

With my recent account closures, I'd have to say I agree. I don't think they close accounts based on IP alone, if at all.

Generally with our forum, I figured this went without saying. However, recent discussion has led me to believe otherwise. People are encouraged to read and follow our rules, especially those regarding illegal content. You have been warned - @Oni

It's literally impossible to base any check on the IP alone
You could ADD it to a list of other triggers, like:
- browser cookies (very fingerprinty)
- a whole lot of browser configs, like size, DPI and much more, read more here: https://csstracking.dev/ (also VERY fingerprinty, and this is just CSS without even using JS)
- account info, including name, payment, address, etc

Raise one or more flags and they're bound to check the IP too, but since a lot of home ISP give you a dynamic IP (and all the mobile phones plans as well) it's really the least useful check.. I just need to reboot my router to get a new IP, but everything else used to track me stay the same

So both devices are assigned to a given carrier service?

In the unlikely event they decide to thoroughly Investigate the devices used, they may see the matching credentials on each phone.

They WILL consider technical factors, you could be flagged for having matching IPs. If they look it up, and it does match lets say an educational institution as stated by someone else its likely to pass. But if its labeled as residential, and there are similarities that would be a dead give away, and could get you banned. If you have a dynamic IP, just use MAC Address spoofing to cycle your IP, and use a browser that resets itself after every session this should keep you clean for the most part.
