Somebody did DNA and they said this, 'I received the item and I sent them a message saying I didn't receive it. They told me to contact the shipping company.', which pretty much means it is unsuccessful, I think exploded battery/not charging will work.

Well that confirms that Philips doesn't take responsibility of lost packages. Go ahead with faulty product, get ready to box / ftid them, I heard they are insistant on getting damaged products back prior to issue replacements / refunds.

don't know where you heard this. At least Phillips north America just needs a serial number and a story on how the toothbrush stopped working/ and that it was a gift (make up a story, has to be a birthday present or wedding present whatever). Then they will just ask you to troubleshoot with them and finally they will offer you a new handle, you'll have to buy a charger and head for the toothbrush. Did this like 3 times in the past year. They do say to send your faulty one back if you receive a shipping label. You can just toss out the shipping label and enjoy the toothbrush they wont follow up.

I'm interested in this method, I have seen it been done on Philips previously. I would find this a lot more easier than the dry ice approach.
Anything I say and do here is completely fictional.

Not If the Item Is light enough to box without substituting the weight.
