I would like to get a replacement on my HyperX headset that I bought at a local shop. Unfortunately, I can't refund there because I used a giftcard. So I was thinking of making an Amazon receipt and making up an excuse to the original hyperx website that amazon send me there and they could give me a replacement. I got all information on the box, ect.


Do you guys think this will work? And do you maybe know a legible excuse why I can't send it back? Thank you for helping me!

Rather than complicating things, why not SE Amazon directly with the fake receipt?

That aside, Is It a third-party GC, or one from the store where the HyperX headset was purchased from?

I don't think I can SE Amazon, since I don't have an order number and it's not on my account.
It's a third party giftcard, the government gives us a one time a year giftcard we can spend at local stores.

I understand your position with Amazon.

I know for certain that you cannot refund a third-party gift card, so that's completely out of the equation. With the local store that you purchased the Item, Is It a small business or a medium/big retailer?

It's a medium for my country's standards, but it's only active in my country.
