RE: How to se a gaming mouse? #21
For all of these new people starting out trying to SE, I recommend doing some research before you ask everyone. There are 100s if not 1000s of threads, pastebins and forums that can give you methods to do so. And if you are too lazy to do that, you shouldn't be on the internet, rather learning a bit of what some people call "work" would benefit you.

Sincerely,
Copscalled

Stealing it over the internet/phone isn't any better than stealing it from a little anime girl

Why would I need a car when I have these wings?

Refunding is buying something then saying I lt didn't come Smile

Oh for real? Been out of the SE scene for a while, recently decide to get back in. I thought SE is ''the art of human manipulation'' so refunding as in ''saying it never arrived'' would be classified under it too, as you have to trick someone in to giving you a refund, my bad Smile

There's a dispute about that, but it's more policy exploitation then real SE. Sure, you can call it SE, but it's very basic, and is still 99% policy exploitation. It would be like calling Scratch programming.
Real SE would be walking into a building and getting yourself invited to view confidential information.
Social engineering would be best received if only the noobs - those that aren't or weren't genuinely here to learn - would leave things like this to Google. It's not about refunding, that should be somewhere else entirely if you ask me.

SE used to be so much more creative: using VoIP spoof to masquerade as an ISP or police to manipulate someone into giving contact info on a customer, after calling CARE as that same customer so you can determine their phone number, just to dox someone.

Things like retail fraud are creative but not nearly as creative as using your intellect.

Get a temporary job at your local retailer, Target, Walmart, Best Buy, Office Supply, etc. The most important part: THEY HAVE TO HAVE THE ITEM IN THE STORE.

Apply for a position in the electronics area for best results. Then what you do is you research the other models so as to not be suspicious. Then, you have to use your discount, and your paycheck AND BUY THE SHIT

JESUS FUCKING CHRIST.
You're on a social engineering forum you fucking idiots why else is anyone on here? Stupid fuck

Well, social engineering subforum, not entire forum. The entire forum is a general technology forum, not a social engineering forum.

These replies are why you ( @themonkdem ) should be less ignorant. While my comment might've seemed to be angry at you, it was not. In general, I amongst other people here, dislike skid conversation on our forum. I'm not saying that you are a skid, I'm just saying that these posts that ask how to steal fairly priced items are childish. Again, the request is childish NOT you.

If you aren't old enough for a job and cannot afford to purchase a gaming mouse, then maybe you should ask for that item as a gift for your birthday or for a holiday instead of stealing it. There might even be some users here who would be willing to sell you or even give you one that they don't need or use.

I'm sorry if I have offended you.
