After unzipping the file you just have to run AptanaStudio3 (in the unzipped folder) and it should work out of the box.

Make sure you have them installed.

If that still doesn't help, post exactly your commands and error message (run it from terminal)

AptanaStudio3 is .exe file
But I downloaded for linux it says same on the website as well.

I downloaded it as well and the linux version has no .exe file, but a linux executable (ELF). You just extract it and run. It worked for me

@"Clevaro", if it's in an executable file format (.exe) and you're using Linux, why don't you just run it in WINE?

WINE is alright when its necessary... but while you can often get Windows apps running, its extremely unstable. Especially as they get more complex. Frequent application crashes are a pain in the ass.

And can confirm... Linux version doesnt have an .exe - You downloaded the wrong package.

It worked for me now as well but it did not worked before it showed error. But now everything works fine. Thread can be marked as solved. Thank you who tried to help anyway
