Additionally, I found the problem with a recent update that was forcing me to use Tor, which is not website friendly with constant 303 Errors here.
Meanwhile, the OpenVPN problem was GUI frontend based, so I'll have to patch that when I'm back in Ohio.
My paid VPN works perfectly thru the CLI however, along with ProXVPN of course.
There are a number of other software related items for OpenVPN that can be modified in the same manner to work on Linux even though they're made for the Window's operating system.
I'll make that a project next week when I'm home.

Footnote: Closing the terminal doesn't kill the connection because the connection is kept running in the background along with OpenVPN and the Tunnel Interface created by using ProxVPN in the manner you listed here mate.
@Ex094
Confirmed ProxVPN as now working with all connections being directly routed thru the tunnel your method creates...thru the Basic version.
Awesome, glad it works for you! Tor too give me errors but most bad of all is it's browsing speed is very slow

I love Tor everybit as much as I love VPN's being used in conjuction with Tor when I'm abroad on business related matters (such as now). And I don't mind Tor being slow in the least, I just hate how I continuously get 303 Errors only on this website everytime the IP Address switches to another "location", which I have set to do every 13 minutes when I use it.
I reckon Bluedog might be able to do something about that on his end here, yet it's not an issue important enough to pursue openly.
Not to mention, that's exactly why a VPN alone is everybit as sufficient as Tor.

Well mine is a similar problem to yours except I can't access HC normally. It loads very slow but with a VPN it's like a shooting star Biggrin

Eh...I'm normally provided with more than enough bandwidth in most locations I travel abroad to, so Tor being slow generally isn't an issue even then for me. Most occasions I've more than enough bandwidth available to act as a Relay for the Tor Network provided certain aspects of my employment don't fall under the potential of being compromised.
Hence two separate workstations being used to avoid that potential.
One for business, the other for personal communication links.
Apologies if I'm replying slow.
I'm moving back and forth between two these workstations whilst one sifts thru a large amount of data and such.
