How do I pay for college #1
I'm about to go to college soon but the thing is I am broke. I already know I'm going to have to take out loans, but what I really want to know is how do I save as much money as possible before going to college. And please don't say "Just get a job lol" be specific. Also don't say "sell drugs" I don't think I'm planning to go to jail anytime soon

Thanks

Investment on education is not a waste anytime. You can pay off your loan after learning (if you do learning correcly). If you have knowledge teach others for money.

Whenever you're in a position like this, I'd recommend selling any valuable momentos or junk that's laying around the house. If you have something of value, or that you think may have value, and you do your research on marketplaces to find the best selling price for the item, you can easily make a few hundred dollars.

In terms of the latter (junk), Items that you'd normally throw In the trash, will definitely be sold at a garage sale. I've personally had a number of garage sales at home, and everything cleared. Used shoes, clothing, pots & pans- you name It, the lot sold within a few hours.

Yeah, you don't want college debt following you around; Especially in The US. My Mom is still paying off college debt and she's in her 40s.

Are you going to private university? Public state schools aren't a total ripoff, at least in my area. Consider going to colleges in your state, to avoid paying out of state fees. Work full time over summers, not sure what type of jobs are in your area.

Also financial aid and scholarships really help. On campus is fun for the first year or so, but more expensive than off campus.

Start learning programming . Or any other IT speciality . I think you should go in that direction. So you can study and earn money without any problems.

It's your best option.

If you're seriously looking for employment, you will find It. Be It flipping burgers at McDonald's or sweeping the streets at midnight for your local council, It certainly beats waiting around for an answer on this board.

Well I have a job already, but it does not pay nearly enough for what I expect to pay for college. I will for sure be in debt once I get out of college. I'm really just asking what are some extra ways to gain some money so the debt I have isn't as much
