I don't blame you! We occasionally get a couple weeks where it's too hot in the summer, and it's not normal to have AC in your home. Every summer I have to soak a big towel in water, use it as a blanket with a floor fan blasting at me on the highest setting. It's the only way I could sleep. Sometimes that wasn't enough and we're not talking particularly crazy temps. Anything above 23 centigrade is uncomfortable for me though. The best temp for me is about 19C xD

I fully understand what you mean. I also act In a similar way with wet towels and fans operating at full speed.

Due to the motor/compressor affixed to the external part of the building, the body corporate does not allow Installing an AC. When the heat gets In, you can Imagine how hot It gets In a solid brick apartment.

It Is actually allowed and I've borrowed one from a friend a while back, but given my apartment Is huge, It did very little to cool It down. Perhaps the unit Itself wasn't powerful enough, so I'll need to research whether there Is one suitable to the size of my living area.

To be honest, It never crossed my mind. I was always focused on cooling the main rooms, so I'll certainly look Into your suggestion.
