High Volume Refund Scheme [potentially] #1
Hi evryone,
i stumbled across Seing returns just yesterday.
I have an idea and wanted to know from Someone with experience how likely they think it is i'll succeed.
Ok so here is the Pitch:
I'll buy Phones in the 300$ Range from Online Shops with Skrill (if possible).
I will claim the Phone is not Working.
Then i will insist on a refund and ship them a Broken Phone.
I'll buy the Broken Phones from Ebay or a shady looking small Phone shop in my Town.
Then i can sell the Working Phone on ebay.
(I figured i could do the same thing with physical Shops by changing the Town/Shop and rotate)
Possible breaking Point i discovered:
-Do they Check wether the Serial Nr of the Phones Match ?

What do u think ?
-Did i miss a major Breaking Point ?
-Do i have to adjust in some way ?
-Which Sites are suitable ?

Depending from whom the phone Is purchased, they may well blacklist the IMEI number on the cell phones you SE.

Look Into this prior to committing.

I haven't had experience of it myself with phones, but I have heard people refunding iPhones and then later they get blocked and are therefore useless.

I did refund an amazon echo plus and they did exactly that straight away and after I sold it on ebay, the buyer had to return it as it was giving him an error code, which I later found out meant lost/stolen item.

Be wary as items such as phones can easily be tracked. Maybe try it with expensive popular headphones or other electrical accessories?

In theory if you're lucky you might be able to pull it off, but the phones can't have screen damage or indicating that it was dropped or something. They can test whether the battery has been used as well. There's a lot of techy stuff they can apply in order to check whether the phone is only about a month old or an older phone.
