for noteworthy threads, which kind of threads are you talking about?
For starting at hacking I would recommend you to check out my thread called "Where to start with hacking". Otherwise check out the "Hacking tutorials" section I'm sure you will find a lot of great tutorials there.

Otherwuse let me know which topics you are interested in and I will help you as much as possible.

Okay I'll check out your post. I'm a die-hard linux user so really anything that I can do through linux. Which to my knowledge is the best OS to use correct? I'm pretty comfortable with command lines and terminal interfaces. Bout the only think I know how to hack right now is a Wifi network. Which is limit when it comes the WPA/WPA2 I'm running BackTrack on my laptop which will be where I will be doing the majority if not all of my penetration. I am actually interested in learning this trade so that I will be able to take it into the job market.
