I've just received an order which I had planned out to do a DNA but unfortunately my nosey neighbour answered her door and took the parcel instead. However looking at DPD tracking there is no parcel in the photo but she has given her name.

I obviously don't want the delivery driver turning up at her door and asking questions as that will blow the DNA so how should I best go about it? Two items weighing in at 1.4kg so think PEB is out of the question too.

Simple, the package "has been stolen". Your neighbor received it from the driver, so just change the story. You dont "know" what happened to it. The investigation will likely end with the driver telling the company he hand delivered it to someone.

That's why I'm asking how common are DPD investigations where driver shows up. Read a few horro stories on here but don't know how common it is, obviously if it was my door I could ignore but if he confirms story with her and passes that back to company I'm a bit screwed and probably fall out with the neighbours ahah

This is why I hate DPD; I've read some horror shit, too, about the fuckers showing up the next day lmao. If I lived alone, this wouldn't be an issue, as I wouldn't answer the door lol.

Disregard previous comments pertaining to your neighbour. Do not get her Involved under any circumstances.

GPS/tracking has marked the consignment delivered to her address, and they also have her name on record. If an Investigation Is opened (which Is almost a certainty), It will significantly complicate matters, and "will" Impact your neighbour - which you'd want to avoid at all costs.

Sorry the item weight is 1.1kg but again it's too heavy for PEB anyway.

I'd like to SE both items if possible. It's two pairs of trousers.
