What exactly did you do and say ?
What information did they need from you? That was holding you back, and what did the ask for exactly?
I have a Lenovo legion And i'd like to try this and see how it Goes. You could walk me through here or in PM and If I am successful. I'll let you know and reward you with something if you'd like.
They wanted :
The below from the person the warranty was registered to
Thank you. Could you help me with the following details for verification purposes?
a. Registered owner's name
b. Email address
c. Phone number
d. Current location
And this from me:
Please share the following:
Service Tag of the incident product:
registered account name/invoice/dell order no.
Phone number:
Best time to contact:
Email:
Date that the incident occurred:
Address where incident occurred:
description of the incident:
Any available pictures of the incident:
I gave what I could to them from the above, they also asked for pop and I sent a fake invoice from receipt mansion, they seemed to accept it no questions asked, they also asked for images of the damage (photoshopped) and images of the injury the device caused to me - I said the battery blew up and burned me, again photoshopped image of injury which they accepted just fine.
They kept saying there was nothing they could do if I don’t have the device, I basically said this is bullshit blah blah blah…. They will eventually crack. I tried to avoid giving them the details of who the warranty is registered to but they simply wouldn’t have it. If you can get the warranty details this can definitely be done.
