They just sent another email saying that they opened a claim with the courier and they will update me when they respond.

They'll mainly be focusing on GPS/tracking records to establish the whereabouts of the package.

We shall await their response.

Update: success. After I think two weeks of intestigation, the couirier declared the package as lost and offerend replacement or refund. I had to dodge both courier's and the company's phone calls, a lot of them.
