You need to plan ahead with every SE. Receiving a product and then thinking of a method and attack vector, Is not good practice - It significantly limits your options.

It's difficult to advise on my end when you take action beforehand - I have no Idea where your claim stands.

As per my previous post (namely to avoid the return), you should've told them you disposed of the Item for the said reasons.

oooh yes ok, no problem! At the end of the conversation via chat, I cut the conversation short because I explained to them that I didn't understand anything at all about all these returns etc. and that my son would contact them again later so nothing was validated!
