Help/Advice #1
Hello sinister.li Members,

My goal next year starting 2020 is just to make more money. Currently I have a job but I've been applying at other jobs that pays more in the process right now of getting hired. I was wondering do you guys have any side hustle/money moves you guys do on the side? I'm looking for ways to make money on the side.

The reason why I asked because I took a major L last month. One of my cars got stolen in my parents house and the thieves who took it towed it and stripped the car. When my car got stolen I was very upset my car wasn't even running since the wiring harness needed to get replace but I've invested around 8-10k into the car such as built motor, suspension, wheels, interior, etc. I found out who took my car. The people who took my car I know of them from friends and they are known for stealing cars. They steal and strip the whole car and dump it 1-2 blocks away from their house. Cops won't do anything. When I found my car they impounded it so I had to pay a fee to get it out. I value my life over anything and it's a blessing to be able to wake up and spend time with my family, girlfriend, dog, and friends and a car is always replaceable.

Any help or advice or suggestions to making some money on the side I would appreciate it. My goal is to make back 10K or close to that with some side hustle. I'm ready to grind it out all year!

Thank you!

It seems like you have time to spare, so why not opt for a second job?

I'm sure a combined Income of two jobs, will be greater than the one you're applying for.

I was thinking getting a 2nd job once I start a new job that pays more. But honestly would like to just have a 1 full time job and be off 2 or 3 days depending what schedule they give me either 5-8's or 4-10's. About a year ago or two years ago when firestick was becoming popular I was using the tip money I earn at work and buying the firestick and just putting kodi on it and selling it for $100. I was increasing my tip money but investing into the firestick and selling it for more it was a good run till everyone started doing it and price kept going down for resell. For now I would just like to work 1 job and on my days off to just relax and do some side hustle from home or on my free time and I don't even mind doing stuff after I get off work.

Been there before....Thieves suck.

What kind of skills do you have? There's always work on car lots or in programming (craigslist, freelancer, etc).

I understand your position, and fully agree.

Unfortunately, every monetizing method I've come across (that promises a decent amount earned), fails to deliver results.

It really does suck when someone just takes something from you that you work for with hard earn money. What makes it worst is cops don't do a single thing about it either. I'm looking for some quick easy side gigs i can do on my days off or after work. I use to do firestick and add kodi onto it and sell it but it got to the point where everyone was doing it that the price went down and wasn't really worth my time doing it anymore and I use to buy stuff for cheap and resell it for more. Just wanted to see if the community here had any advice/suggestions of their own for some side hustle.

Yeah most of the monetizing method doesn't really deliver well. Just posted this to see if anyone had any suggestions to making some side hustle. If I didn't have a dog I would totally lean towards a 2nd job but I love spending time with my dog on my days off. Thanks for always helping my past couple threads I've made is due to last month what happened to me, Just want to secure the house more and my cars and find a side hustle to get the money I lost back.

How old are you? I ask to see your qualifications. If you are up to tutor, I'm betting you can make a good amount of money at your institution. I'm always getting emails about tutors needed at the university I'm at.

And If they do, It's only short-lived and not a consistent cash flow.

Almost every monetizing method Is a waste of time and resources.
