Starting yesterday I started learning about the Hackintosh and worked on building one out in a VM. Good god, if you don't have a reason to do this, don't. I wanted a mac station for debugging an issue with a development project and I ended up doing this. Two days of work and configuring. There is no glory in the hackintosh, only tears.

Have you guys every tried to set one up, successes? Failures? Share the pain..

I never tried this out since I have an iso that works only on VMware, and only on Windows lol and I didn't want to spend time on this, plus it would be useless on my Windows machine as I use it like its not a computer, you know music, movies etc etc.

Can I have the link for that iso please?? :epic:

It's a lot more than an ISO there are about 4 popular boot loaders and I tried them all. For my processor (you have to take into account your processor) intel i7-4800 I used the iATKOS ML2 dmg. It will crash. It will break. And you will cry.

The .iso donwload link compitable with Vbox would be a nice start my friend.

Okay I am little out of topic but I have an .iso as I told you that is only compitable installing it on VMware on Windows machine, but nevermind.

In the link it says that its not for Virtual Installation only for native one. But I will give it a try.
