The doctype tells the browser which version of HTML you are using so it know how to handle the different tags. This does not count for HTML5 since it's not based on SGML (Standard Generalized Markup Language).

Well I mma bit confused here some say that we should use lowercase in html and u say uppercase will be good plz give reason....
