Hi guys, got a tricky question. I need some clarification here.

OK i got my next SE item, i found an expensive tablet cost 500$+ that does not require signature and i already got the item. The tricky part is, when i bought it, it shows "prime" on the price so i thought it is going to come out from amazon warehouse, but they are indeed shipped from third party. Anyone has experience can i refund those packages, do amazon issue refund for those packages or you have to deal with the seller and shit like that? Since i dont want to start all the conversation then i had to return the package in case something happened.

Any advice is appreciated.

Amazon may offer you a refund without you having to return the product, but you won't be able to double dip or anything. I had an issue before where I went through a 3rd party that was fulfilled by Amazon. I received my refund without many questions asked, but about a month later I had been charged for the purchase again. Personally I just chalked it up as a loss because I didn't want to deal with it escalating, but I likely could have disputed it. I think you're fine to start the refund process, but do keep an eye out for the purchase being charged again (likely the 3rd party disputing the claim).

nearly impossible to get a refund from that as amazon is the "middle man" and they have no control of the money. You have to contact the third party directly. thats why you always have to make sure its shipped and sold from amazon

It's not Impossible to receive the refund through Amazon, but more so unlikely.

The third party seller distributed the Item from It's own Inventory (not Amazon), so as stated above, you'll need to deal with them. Depending on the seller, their policy may be the same as Amazon or different to some degree. That's something you will need to research and establish.
