What are your opinions on gun rights? Do you think they should be banned or kept? Why?
I think that Gun Rights should be kept because of many reasons.
If our gun rights were banned and our guns were taken by the law, the criminals will be the only ones with the guns. They have a way better chance of getting away with crime with that gun and here's why: The victim is getting robbed. The robber has a gun. The victim with no gun has no good way of protecting himself. Robber gets away or kills the victim.
Here is another reason:
Many drugs are illegal, such as marijuana. People still get it don't they? What makes you think that people won't be able to get guns from other countries?

Honestly, Guns are something we, humans, thought up and created. And NOW we have a problem with them? After all the families that have lost their family members? After all our wars? NOW we put up laws? People will get ahold of guns no matter WHAT, I mean look at Bootlegging, moonshine, marijuana, its all illegal, but we STILL get a hold of it...

Really, Half the government shout be sent to jail for disobeying the Constitution.
It's the people behind the guns rather than the guns themselves.
Look at what happened in CT. Think about it, what if all of the teachers were carrying guns? First teacher that Adam encountered would shoot him, and none of the ~25 kids would die. Guns are the opposite of what we think they are, we just have to use them that way.

I live in England and we don't have guns that are legal unless they are like pellet guns so it isn't just of a problem here. Obviously there are people with guns in the black market. But in England it has only just been passed that you can legally hit someone in your own house for obviously reasons of robberies and unauthorised enteries. Can't just randomly go round hitting people. I think that in America they should be more strict with guns. I mean how many schools have been shot up in America? I think that it is too late for America to do anything about the gun laws

I think there should be guns, just make people get background checks and shit, make them do a fucking quiz if you have to. Don't ban that shit, thats so dumb. Yeah, they'd just get it just like people still get illegal drugs. You can easily take apart a gun, put the part in a soda bottle and transport it. Easy.

One thin g that I still don't understand is why the government jails and focuses primarily on guns rather than the people who were using guns incorrectly. Banning guns isn't going to do anything, guns aren't the problem here.
The people who want to do something bad using guns are the ones we should be focusing on. You can ban guns to hell, but by god, if criminals want to do something bad, they will.
Another thing to think about when talking about these shootings: education.
Consider this: when you're a you g kid in kindergarten, people don't want you to feel bad, so they say everything is alright, even when grades are bad, etc. They make the world look look as if there is nothing wrong, as if everything's alright and always will be. But then come middle/high school, the teachers are serious. You've grown up now, and you're going to get bad grades. In kindergarten you got used to being spoiled, nut now there's no more spoiling. You're faced with. The grim truth: life isn't all roses and violets, it's not all "peachy". At that point, people who aren't used to hearing "no" grab guns and start shooting, just because they're angry that they can't get everything they want.
Anyways, rant over...I could go on for hours. But still, think about this.
