Hi,
So I have Samsung Galaxy S2 and once I accidentally I dropped it on the ground after that I got a green dot on my screen



Sorry for bad quality used Lumia 520 to take a picture of it

I tried other ways of fixing it like downloading Pixel Fixer and similar stuff nothing helped.
is there any other weird way of fixing this myself? I seen somewhere that leaving it on the cold ice for 24 hours can fix it but that looks non sense for me. If anyone have tried it and it worked please let me know.

Anyway is there any other untraditional way of fixing this without taking it to local repair shop.

Seems like a dead pixel to me. Taking it to a local repair shop is your only 100% 'fix' option. After googling I've found some people doing tricks like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=euBNfsZgsT8 to 'fix' it.

Not sure if that is the 'Pixel Fixer' app you did.

Already watched this and tried doesn't work.

I wonder will they replace all screen or actually fix the pixel. Because if pixel is fixable and screen replacement would be a big rip off then.

Well crap then. Rather get new phone would cost the same price anyway.

This is a hardware issue - That pixel or group of pixels are stuck either on, or off, depending on the type of LCD panel which is allowing pure light to pass through the RGB layer unaffected.

Clearly - this is not something that is easily "fixed". Not even sure its possible tbh. Your average repair shop certainly wouldnt be able to, and its probably cheaper for the manufacturer to replace the entire screen than it is for them to have someone fix it (if its even possible).

I had this same problem in my old laptop, except the dot changed color every week or so. If it works like mine, it will disappear occasionally, but there is no way of fixing it for good (at least not that I have found).

changing a screen is only like 60-100 bucks. much cheaper than paying 200-250 deductable for a new phone

i think that pixel with green dot is a dead pixel go to some local shop hope it can fix this problem :Content:

Just bang it the opposite side. If it fell on back fall it on top.
That fixed mine.
