Okay, I have a question. How do I make colors blend in when I smudge. When I try to smudge it looks unblendish.

Well there is many ways to go with it. If I could see the sig it would help. Try using graphics maps and switching the display to soft light and or hue. This will blend the colors together. Also the brush tool and really pull the signature together where the signature is lacking in lightning.

Smudge can be a bit annoying hopeful this helps.
