Hi guys,
I am looking to SE a pair of Oakley glasses. I can use a regular DNA or empty box (weight is below 120g) but is it also possible to state the glass broke or something similar. I am guessing they will require a photo in that case? Would that be easy to fake with photoshop?
Kind regards,

Alright I ordered a pair from Oakley, but I still have to think of a method. Luckily the product doesn't arrive for another two weeks so that should be fine.

Hey, I’m sure it’s different buying directly from Oakley but just FYI for future glasses SE, last year I got a full refund on two pairs of glasses from Eyebuydirect (they carry Oakley frames) worth $300-ish total. This was summer 2021. this is how it went;
1- ordered two pairs prescription glasses on brand new account/zero orders
2- once arrived contacted support via email saying the prescription was “slightly off” in both pairs.
3- rep offered credit to my account to order a different pair, I declined saying I wanted a refund instead because now I “have to find a replacement quickly”
4- rep gave full refund and told me not to worry about returning glasses and to just donate them instead. (I think they told me to keep them so they didn’t have to pay for shipping label? Or maybe it’s just something they do for first time customers? Not too sure on that)
5- They apologized and hoped I would give them another shot in the future (which I will, on a brand new account lol)

By the way, to prevent a failure, does someone know if Oakley has CCTV in place in their warehouse?

To be certain, I decided to DNA it since I didn't want to risk a possible CCTV investigation. CS was quite slow to respond so that was a bit annoying. First they offered a replacement, then I asked for a refund. This was 'escalated', which didn't scare me because that usually just means the refund is sent to the relevant department. So the responsible team will contact me in a couple of days and I actually received a voucher as well.
Will update once refund is processed
