I second this.

In all my years of SEing, Logitech have not requested the return of the Item.

What about other companies who similarly will not ask for their faulty items returned? Or who won't check the box being returned and just give you the replacement?

I've experienced this countess times with "Target", namely when returning Items In-store.

I remember I returned a dinner set (plates, cutlery, etc) and replaced It with a white pages phone book/directory. I went In very late on a Friday at the service counter, just before close of business. They were In a rush to finalize their day's paperwork, and go home In readiness for the weekend. As such, an on the spot refund was Issued.

As you can see, the "timing" played a significant role In the successful outcome.

The last time I tried this method, they told me to return it to the store I bought it from because it's still under the stores 2 year warranty.

How do you get around this?

I have met this once, however I just told them that I already took contact to them and they referred to Logitech themselves, as they did not want to repair it. Ive also met another scenario where they wanted a statement from there, where I just forged a pdf document with a random name of a store manager and text, plus the Companys logo. All succeeded after this.

Sometimes they do ask you for the invoice, sometimes they don't they may also ask for proof of fault with the item like a video depends who you get sometimes saying the item is a gift so you can't provide a proof of purchase works. But just now I was told that they can't transfer it and that be "since this product has been previously registered we are unable to assist with a replacement. Please contact your retailer for further assistance”."
Is there a way around this?

1. Buying the Logitech stuff you want on your local shop.
2. Contact Logitech with legit SN and say your product doesnt work.
3. Logitech will ask you for photos of SN and to write some verification number by the product.
4. Logitech will send a replacement for fre.
5. You return legit product you bought back to the store within 14 days of purchase for legit refund.

So there you go. Super easy way to get your Logitech items for free. I'm sure this method will work with many other companies that don't require you to ship back faulty products. Want to contribute to this thread and list what some of those stores might be?
I personally tried this about 8 months ago, however they kept telling me, this item has already been registered so we cannot help you. Something along the lines of this. Very frustrating to say the least. I might try again soon.

Thanks for the share. Would this work on expensive items too?

Dam it's nice to hear someone else had this issue, it must be when someone else has contacted support or registered the item. Because that is the case with me, I tried the serial on another support ticket and didn't think they register it when they check but it would appear they do.
What do you say when they say you have to be the original owner of the item? Sometimes they won't accept it being a gift

You just have to accept it unfortunately. One can only dispute so much. I tried to get my case escalated but that too failed.
