Hi all, After reading a post the other day regarding Garmin. Decided to try and SE the Venus 2 watch.

Found Serial from eBay that wasn’t registered, registered it with my one time use email. Online chat was successful return accepted, Dispatched well packaged empty box without order number or return address (difficult to work out where it has come from). It was delivered the next day!

Two days later! Boom brand new watch landed on my doormat.

I’ve had easier SE but thought i would share!

Did they asked for POP or pictures, and what was the method you've used?

Based on the above, I'd assume the tracking details were also omitted.

If so and given you've stripped the sender's address & order number and they were awaiting the return to process your claim, how did they approve It without Identifying that the package belonged to you?

Update: Been 10 days since it was delivered and signed for by Garmin. Been in contact this morning and they asked for my tracking number.

On receipt of giving them the tracking number they are satisfied that my item has been returned and have no processed the return. Replacement has been dispatched.

(This is the second attempt as the first was so easy, different address and email used)

What Information was on the consignment when It was signed for?

Been in contact this morning and they asked for my tracking number.

On receipt of giving them the tracking number they are satisfied that my item has been returned and have no processed the return. Replacement has been dispatched.

Given they didn't have the tracking number to begin with, how did they verify the shipment was In fact In transit and returned?

Or did they base the return purely on the consignor and consignee details?

I assume the return was confirmed solely with the tracking details.

I know this was a few years back but I'm interested in how you went about returning a device they needed before dispatching a new one, can you explain a bit more in detail.
