I have a "Wrong Item Sent" question. I've been reading a bunch of stuff on here and have some experience but that was 2 years ago. I want to order a RTX 2080 Ti that is sold by a different party but is fulfilled by amazon (1 in stock). I have a 1080 Ti I want to swap for (I checked online and can see that one 1080Ti is in stock that is sold by amazon warehouse deals). The weight difference is .09Lbs. I was thinking on just taking the RTX 2080ti out of the box and putting in my old 1 in and then adding a few wires that would get close to that .09lbs. Would this be a successful "Wrong Item Received" method?

In terms of the wrong Item received method, simply purchase an Item that's significantly cheaper (that they stock) and weighs around the same as the GPU.
When they request the return, send the wrong Item.

Curious to see if this would work, if you try it please do post a detailed follow up. I don't see any reason why this SE method wouldn't work but it's still interesting twist to the typical wrong item received method.

Do it if its sold and fulfilled by amazon. Otherwise the returned item will be sent back to 3rd party and be inspected.
