GO:OD AM Quick Album Review #1
So. Mac Miller dropped his GO:OD AM album a week and a half ago. I've finally gotten to listening to the whole album a few times. Enough to get a feeling for the mood of the album. The beginning of the album is very pumped up (Brand Name) and started to slow down a bit towards the end. But this is definitely not bad. He (imo) is adding other elements to his album. His last album, Watching Movies With The Sound Off, killed it and he's back again. Shit is fuegoooooooooo. Give it a listen, it's worth it.

tl;dr This album is absolutely amazing. Mac really outdid himself. @Dyme listen to this (if you haven't already)

Two matches isn't very good (IMO)

Rush hour and ascension are my two favorite songs. Brand name, break the law, In the bag, and 100 grandkids are all pretty good too.

I liked 100 Grandkids. I'd need to listen to the rest.

Edit: He seems pretty proud he's OD'd before. Isn't that normally an indication there's a problem? Tongue

Hes saying the opposite. His last two albums have been majorly about his drug abuse and depression. This album is his recovery. In the first song he says "I ain't saying I'm sober I'm just in a better place" hes referring to that depression and how hes overcome a lot of his drug abuse and depression that the last two albums have shown us. Not everyone can relate to his lyrics; he most likely raps about drugs a lot still because a lot of the crowd who listens to him probably also do drugs and may have depression if they liked the last two albums.
