You must be doing something wrong then.
Lets take a look at the steps required:-
  1. Select your GIF
  2. Place a standard A4 sheet in your printer
  3. Right click your GIF and select "Print"
  4. Shake the Printer like crazy
That should do it. You must've missed something.
