If you go DNA with John Lewis and you claim it to PayPal then it is likely PayPal will side with the seller as they will provide the tracking information.

I shall try to resolve it directly with John Lewis then.

Correct.

As far as you're concerned, you've been waiting all day for the delivery to no avail.

Even so, a package that's marked as delivered, does not conclude that It was personally received.

Can DNA still be claimed regardless of the fact the package was handed to me and scanned?

Who verified that It was handed to "you?".

The scanning only shows that It was delivered to the correct address, and not the account holder nor any member of the household. Unless photos are taken with yourself or a family member/friend holding the package, then they cannot conclude that It was received by the said persons- thereby the receipt of goods Is Inconclusive.

How did it go? I'm expecting a John Lewis package too and was wondering if DNA will work out.
