Attempting my first "proper" SE. Done a few before but this is the highest value item (iPhone 11 Pro). Store is John Lewis and I paid via PayPal intending to do FTID. Having read some of the threads here, I am now in doubt wether to even attempt this. What is the best method I should be using here? As I mentioned, first time doing this so am naturally apprehensive.

You started like a bomb.
You ought to start doing simple SEs, such as food.

This is my humble opinion.

Done food, Amazon and one other store already. So thought I’d move up a notch lol.

Also heard this which is why I’m hesitant. If anyone has recently done John Lewis, please let me know.

Thanks mate. How is patched exactly?

How exactly would they rebill you? Say I FTID successfully, what justification would they have to rebill?

They don’t receive the parcel, so they threaten to bill you if you don’t return within 10 days

I have read several people saying John Lewis is not working any more. Members above me seem to agree as well.

FTID is sketchy at best so I would not attempt it myself.

Don't forget you can buy the iPhone on Amazon as well. You say you are familiar with them so it should be a bit easier I would imagine.

Even if I have valid tracking that shows they have received it?

Yes, I think I'm just going to abort the John Lewis one. What's the best method for Amazon? (For a high value item).

That would depend some on your account with them. If you don't have any returns in the past few months, have not had any emails such as "we have noticed an unusually high number of issues/returns with your orders" (and similar),
have used your account for legitimate purchases then you have a few options.

I would probably default to DNA since it is relatively straight forward. Be prepared for the incoming carrier investigation so plan you delivery accordingly in advance. I am certain that with an iPhone 11 pro they will open an investigation if you DNA simply due to the value of the item.
You can try to box them or even FTID (I would not recommend it).

Keep us posted on your progress!
