First Amazon SE #1
Hello xD I’m new to amazon and have looked through countless methods (.even debated ftid) but I can’t find out which one is best for a MacBook . After going throughout countless threads it seems the battery method or dna is the best my account is about 8 years old with over 5k in purchases and no SEs even attempted any idea what method I should do ? Thanks (sealed box seems like far to much time to wait) (ftid ) is flawed from my experience. ( dna) is viable and eb is out of question the one which I am attempting is (2021 Apple MacBook Pro (14-inch, Apple M1 Pro chip with 10‑core CPU and 16‑core GPU, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD) - Silver) which might have a problem having the price being 2389 and really would like to avoid PR let me know your thoughts will be attempting soon . Biggrin

I've read your post and realize you're not keen on certain methods, but I'll provide those that're suitable.
  • The wrong Item received
  • Disposed of the faulty Item
  • DNA (obviously)
  • The sealed box
  • Leaking battery (battery-compatibility)

I’ve known about most of these just thought they wouldn’t work , leaking battery I mentioned above without the leaking part I suppose this could work to double dip maybe

A PR Is only required for administration purposes to move forward with the claim, so there's no cause for concern.

In terms of filing a report, you can attend your local police station or (where available) do It online.

The sealed box method has a very high success rate with Items of this nature.

Yes, viewing unboxing videos Is an excellent way to Identify the packaging and whether It's compatible with the sealed box method.

Let's us know the method you decide on using.

It serves the same purpose as a seal - any Inconsistencies with the film Itself, Indicates possible signs of tampering.
