Fine Jewelry Refund #1
I am thinking about refunding fine jewelry such as a gold chain or bracelet. Some potential stores that I am looking at include Macy's, Bloomingdales, Zales, etc. I am thinking that Bloomingdales is the best option. The item value will be <2k, and the item itself will weigh less than 60 grams due to its nature. I have a drop addy in place, along with fake information. It is going to be a fresh account which may cause problems, I don't know. I was thinking about doing a simple EB since the item is so light and small. I don't think any other methods would work. If you guys have any input or tips for this, it would be appreciated.

EB, DNA, could even do a partial EB. Stick to larger retail stores that sell jewellery (walmart, macys, etc), this is because I have heard that jewellers such as peoples jewellers and Tiffany have special measures in place to prevent SEing. Would be excited to see the outcome.

I appreciate the advice. I don't believe that DNA would work with the value of item I am chasing. For a order around 2k, they are most likely going to require a signature. I like the EB idea because I can sign for it legitimately, and the chain will be so light that they couldn't weigh it.

No problem, added DNA as an option due to personal experiences, have had a few orders over 2k that did not require signature or OTP.
I believe signature isn't an issue if you sign using fake sig, but regardless I don't know about the specific region you live in or courier they use. So, EB would be a perfect option. Best of luck, keep us updated

Perfect for the EB/missing Item method.

Quote:It is going to be a fresh account which may cause problems
I assume there are no transactions on the account.

If so, due to the value of the Item you're SEing, I suggest making a couple of legit purchases - just to give the account some credibility.

Good points. I wasn’t planning on trying this one for a while anyways. Do you think there is a threshold for how many legit purchases I have to make in order to gain credibility?

Obviously the more, the better, but a couple of purchases will suffice.

So let’s say I am going to use EB/missing item. Should I say that the case/packaging for the chain is in the cadboard box without the chain, or say that it was literally just an empty cadboard box with a shipping label on it?

^ This.

Upon opening the case/packaging, the chain was missing. Can the chain be viewed externally without opening the case?

I think you may be misinterpreting what I am saying. For example, if you were to order Airpods there is usually Apple packaging that holds the Airpods within a carrdboard box/envelope. Using this example, would I say that the Airpods were missing from the Apple packaging within the box/envelope, or that there was no Apple packaging entirely and what arrived was simply just an empty box/envelope? (This is just an example in terms of packaging, I understand that Airpods are too heavy to EB)
