I've been a huge fan of stand up all of my life.  There are some great recommendations already in the thread, but I'll offer this:  Since Covid killed stand-up comedy, there are a few comedians that decided to find new outlets to practice their craft rather than wait for the world to allow large groups in tightly packed rooms again.  The person I find to be the clear best at this new way of making people laugh is Tim Dillon.

His twitter, youtube/instagram videos/skits, and his podcast are worth taking a look at.  The dude is hilarious and he puts out twice as much content as anyone else doing it nowadays.

Definitely Rowan Atkinson.

I've watched each and every Mr. Bean episode many times over, and still find them hilarious.

Thanks man, I just spent the last 3 hours watching Bean clips.  The bit with him in church has always been one of the funniest skits of all time to me.

I haven't actually watched Mr Bean since I was a kid, unless you count that little bit Rowan did for the 2012 olympics. I never get tired of watching him work xD

I've often wondered what he'd be like, doing a few episodes of Mr. Bean at the age of 66.

Would be great to see the aged version. I'd imagine the comedy could play on his age.

I think his age would have a negative effect on his character to some degree.

I'd say those who've watched the original Mr. Bean (myself Included), would compare the "then and now" and perhaps be somewhat disappointed with his performance.

That could be true, but I saw him barely 10 years ago doing a small Mr Bean-esque performance, and thought it was as great as ever. Atkinson is well-known to be a perfectionist and one of his own biggest critis. So, I don't think we'd ever see a performance he wasn't happy with at least. Then again.. Perhaps that's why we haven't seen more Mr Bean! lol

Although It was roughly a decade ago, It's amazing how he's still performing at the same level- which explains his perfectionism.

I'd love to see a Mr. Bean v2021.

I used to love rewatching his stand up, and his achmed scenes. I didn't mind peanut too much either.
