Did you send the item to them or to an incorrect address?
Just an empty box?

Don't want to completely leak the method, but the objective of FTID is to make it so the company never receives or throws away your package, but it'll say 100% delivered on the tracking number. Since it shows as delivered, the customer has proof they sent the item to them. Thus, the company manually issues a refund/replacement.

I'm not sure how experienced you are, but would you say altering the first line of address, rather than just removing traceable info on the label, is a much better approach? Or are both methods equally as effective? (I've only done the latter and I have never run into trouble - yet...)

Thank you in advance.

Thank you in advance.
I personally modify everything other than the tracking bar code.
If you don't modify address, you have a risk of them tracing your package to your order.
If you do modify address, you have a risk of them claiming to never receive your package and go into long-drawn investigations - though I suppose this can also happen even with original address.
