I am looking for the latest tutorials or methods. Most of what I have seen is quite old in regards to FB hacking accounts. Is there a reason not many people post on the subject anymore.

I need a way to gain user and pass remotely.

I don't really care about gaining access to accounts so I'm not the most qualified person to answer this, but my ignorant assumption is that Facebook's security is well beyond the skillsets of 99% of users and the only legitimate chance you have at getting into someone's account is going to involve a lot of lucky social engineering.

I would have no clue where to start with the social engineering portion. I have the account recovery phone number but not the phone itself. How do people get that from the target?

Essentially a way to get the authentication code from the objectives device?

Try faceniff it works if youre on the same network ..you can also get the info if you have access to the phone backup

Social engineering, specifically phishing, is your best bet.
@th3_gh0st I'm pretty sure that hasn't worked since HSTS became a thing.
