Evidently the flawed so-called FTID method failed - which doesn't surprise me In the least.

The upside Is, they're willing to refund It, so you'll need to circumvent the return. What did you say was wrong with the laptop?

Not a smart choice by the refunder - the return option Is now limited to a single method. He/she should've opted for the faulty Item method.

It's too big and heavy to box (without substituting the weight), so you'd need to purchase a very cheap laptop and return It as the wrong Item.

yeah, if it fails and then i have to make a new excuse and come up with a cheap laptop and return the item again, have to wait another 10 days...

Every SE'er has a bad day, regardless of their level of experience. Believe me, over time and after many successful outcomes, SEing will become second nature.

Update: thank you so much for your help and advice, amazon just issued me a refund after 14 days. i didn't make any fuss about it and I was calm on chat as well.

talked with them politely and they will help for sure.
