Extremely strange behaviour with several Amazon EU sites 07-23-2020, 07:00 PM

Hi all,
Today I created a new account with amazon.es (Spain). I then proceeded to add my card information for payment and I saw that my bank card is already in my wallet on amazon. I have never had any account with amazon.es and this was a brand new registration. How is this possible? Is this some form of automated system where it makes it more convenient for the customer?
To me that means that Amazon has linked my registration with my UK Amazon account and has transferred over my payment information.
To add more insult to injury I then proceeded to register for amazon.de and amazon.nl but decided to see what will happen if I use the same log in information as I have created on amazon.es. BOOM to my surprise I was let in both amazon.de and amazon.nl using my amazon.es log in. I can assure you I have never created accounts in amazon.de and amazon.nl, and needles to say my payment information was present in those as well.
Any information regarding this is welcomed. Thank you!
