What's EVE Online about? What do you do?

[Oni]

I have reached end-game.

Spoiler:

What's EVE Online about? What do you do?

It's a very open-ended game. You're thrown into a universe, where you can do basically anything. Some of things you can do are explore, kill space pirates, PVP, or build ships. It's the kind of game where you could spend hours and hours learning how to perform an activity, yet still have 0 clue how to perform another.

What is this game about it looks interesting?

You choose. I personally have fun killing pirates and defending my Alliance's space. That being said, you could theoretically play the game without ever killing anything.

Holy shit, that's crazy.

I remember playing this game a bit back in the day. Used to browse around with Brave and get shat on. I made a good amount of money scamming people and screwing around with the Markets in Jita, though. It was fun af. The entire alliance on Mumble jamming out to cheesy af Eve songs and getting fucked over 25 Jumps out of the station, while the Fleet commander is freaking out because we made the wrong jump.

Honestly best PvP MMO game ever made.

maybe i'll play again...

The scale of the game made me want to get into it but it'd be such a money and time sink I don't think I'd be able to dedicate that kind of time to it to be able to rise in the ranks of a company at all.

TL;DR on the article: Eve Online war because anime memes were banned from a faction's discord channel.

Here's a good summary:

I cant afford plex anymore, and I don't feel like playing all the time.

Friend of mine went AFK on stream. CCP posted a clip on Facebook.

I cant afford plex anymore, and I don't feel like playing all the time.

I offered to show you how to earn the PLEX. It's not that hard. With a supercarrier I earned enough for a PLEX in just 1-2 days. Using other "budget" ships you can make about 1/3-1/2 as much as I did. I already trained @Jiggly how to make 20mil+/tick with a 2-3 month old account. Planetary interaction will also net you roughly 300-700mil per month. Would even cover your first PLEX, ship, and get you into my corporation (offer is open to @insidious too).

Maybe sometime I'll come back. I just hated skill training.

Like @"Tarew" said, it really is a time sink and I think the skills training has a lot to do with that too. I do like the fact that it continues to train even when you're not on though. You could set up the queue and leave it for a week and still have progress (for those who don't know).

Eh, it's up to you. I was hesitant to start because of time etc. But it's been fun so far.

The second finals are over, i'm booting up my old PvP and Trading character again

I think margin trading should net me enough to cover my plex. TBH i might have enough stashed away to cover it rn, last i remember i had around 1-2bil in the bank

EDIT: Nvm, have around 200mil of hard isk, but i definitely have more in assets. Dunno what those assets are though, going to have to find out
