EB on case fans? 04-25-2023, 09:43 PM

Hey, wanted to know if someone tried EB on case fans, I ordered a 3 pack of them from Amazon.de. Yeah, the weight in tracking is 0,96 kg , it's way past the 120 g safe mark. But knowing Amazon and their reps, maybe it can pass threw or not? Or should I just stick it with DNA? The price of the case fans pack is 72 euros btw.

on some random occasions you can get away with "EB'ing" heavy item's past the recommended mark , alot of times we see people successfully "EB" phones/Vr's headsets but since your not sure whether if luck is gonna play a role by your side you stick with logic .
NOTICE : amazon.de tends to be one of the filthiest customer service i've seen people deal with ...
The fans are not that heavy, maybe the controller in the box itself has a weight. iPhone has weight about 200 grams as far as I googled. So it's not the same as 3 fans and the controller inside a box. But I am now still thinking of just doing a DNA, like it will be delivered to packstation by a shitty carrier who has bad reputation.

That's the gross/shipping weight, which Is obviously not relevant to EB'ing.
So you think EB would work or just stick to DNA? I don't know if Amazon rep would go and check the weight or if he just gave me the refund without asking any questions.

I think the DNA method will work because the cost of the order is small and they can make concessions

I can't say - you've provided the shipping weight.
It's the Item weight that determines the EB's compatibility.
The gross weight is 0.86 kg .Today I took it from the packstation, so yeah, it's not that light like a SSD or some ram sticks.

I used the DNA method, got a refund without any problems.
