EA Stuck with $60 Battlefront II #1
EA has managed to shoot themselves in the foot. They have "temporarily" removed lootboxes from the game after backlash. They might be able to re-add it at some point, but with lawmakers looking into if the game is "a Star Wars casino for kids" it would be unwise to do so. Whats more, is EA has promised not to charge for DLC.

I think they've learned their lesson after this though, and I think that a lot of big companies will think again before adding micro-transactions. Micro-transactions shouldn't alter game progress a lot.
