E-Mail Snagger? 07-17-2014, 03:16 AM
#1
Does anyone know of any decent freeware programs that can be used to snag e-mails from websites, or have tutorials on how to make one? If you can help please, reply or PM me.
Thanks,

Snag? As in steal? Are you looking for e-mails or just email addresses?

theharvester.py is a great tool (written in Python funnily enough) and sounds like its just what you're looking for.

just to add,if you dont have metasploit installed in your system you just install python in your system, and run the harvester from command line.
how to use from cmd line:
C:> theHarvester.py -d domain.com -l 500 -b all
That setting would search emails related to domain.com (target domain) will search 500 results per search engine (you can go as high as you want,(-b) is to specify wich search engine, wich "all" give you better results.
