Does parcel weight matter with FTID? #1
So I’ve recently done an FTID for a 3.5kg item and I matched the weight with bottles of water, waiting to see if it goes through at the moment but is this overkill? I imagine if you went about it the right way you could get away with sending a small insignificant parcel that would go under the radar and it would work just fine.

If anyone’s got any experience would love to hear it

Not the most experienced in this as never attempted but I think it depends as there's like 6 versions of it all with different methods.

Some will actively do a crappy leaflet to make sure it's thrown out without a second glance

afaik weight only matters if they investigate the tracking number or need a receipt. company's that are easy with ftid in your experience should be abused right away imo

I think it got flagged up w selfridges bc the parcel was too big, tried v3 with another address on the label but it must have just been routed to them anyway

Weighting is always better. If you're dropping your own labels and have all of the necessary materials then there is zero reason not to, aside from lazyness.

Better to be safe than sorry even if others may consider it overkill. I've never seen somebody regret covering their asses as much as possible; I've seen plenty regret not doing so.
