If I'm correct, most Android phones have the ability to have their IMEI changed through programs you can access with root. Once you change the IMEI, you can have the phone activated and it should work properly as if it wasn't an SE'd product.

In the past, I have refunded numerous products to Amazon without any blacklisting or repercussions. My suggestion would be to sell the item in question and use the funds to purchase the desired product instead.

This thread Is almost 5 years old.
Given It's still active and used for Informative purposes, I'll keep It open. That aside, Amazon In the UK has been blacklisting IMEIs for around 8 months. I'm not certain If It's still the case at the time of this post.

I would like to know if it works, does Amazon investigate the IMEI number or others to track me and see that I lied?
Is it risky to keep the phone if the refund is ok?
I tried it a computer part, and they sent me a warning email saying to send the original item.
But tell me a thing, does the Amz Invoice mention the SN of that computer part?
Otherwise how can they prove the original SN and the new one of the other item you returned?
I don't believe in what I say because everything I say is a big fictional and false joke!
