Using text overlay and gradient are generally considered to be quite basic features and, while you didn't use them poorly, using other options would have made this better.

You have stumped me. How did I use the Gradient and Overlay "poorly" ? The text Gradient looks good to me as with the texture.

He just said you didn't use them poorly.. If you want feedback on your work, don't make it a drama whenever someone says a bad thing about it. If you get mad for negative feedback then stop making graphics/Designs.

Also, the Bevel and pattern on the logo ruins it a lot, the colors used in the gradient also looks bad together..

Are you saying putting a Blue to Green Gradient is automatically ugly. Please explain to me why its ugly. I would like your feedback, but you give no reason for the things you say. I did give you a reason why I didn't like the gradient, you just quoted me and took away the reason.. -__- I said they didn't fit well together, if you are going to get overly upset, at least make sure you aren't trying to make others at fault. Blue to Cyan-green looks awful, that is my opinion and I have never seen anyone that thinks the color match is good, as of yet at least.
